Product Overview

Back Panel Controls

1. Power Switch

   • Turns the light on or off.

2. Power Port

   • Plug in the included power cable (AU plug) next to the power button.

3. Left Dial (Brightness Control)

   • Rotate to increase or decrease brightness (10% to 100%).

   • When fan is off, maximum brightness is limited to 30% for protection.

4. Right Dial (Color Temp / FX Mode Selector)

   • Default Mode (FX off): Adjust color temperature (2800K–6800K).

   • FX Mode Enabled: Rotate to cycle through the 9 lighting effects.

5. FX Button (Effects Mode)

   • Press to activate 9 built-in lighting effects.

   • Use the Right Dial to select between the effects.

6. Fan Button (Cooling Control)

   • Press to toggle the internal cooling fan.

   • Note: Fan must be ON to use brightness settings over 30%.

Using Your VL300 Video Light

1. Setup

   • Attach the Bowens mount to fit desired light modifiers.

   • Connect the power cable to the socket on the back panel.

   • Use a stable stand or mount for proper placement.

2. Turn On

   • Flip the power switch to the ON position.

3. Adjust Brightness

   • Rotate the Left Dial to adjust brightness between 10%–100%.

4. Change Color Temperature

   • Rotate the Right Dial to set your desired color tone (2800K–6800K).

   • Ideal for matching ambient light or creating different moods.

5. Activate Effects

   • Press the FX Button to enable creative lighting effects (e.g., lightning, strobe, etc.).

   • Rotate the Right Dial to cycle through the 9 presets.

6. Fan Function

   • Press the Fan Button to turn the cooling fan on/off.

   • Important: Brightness is capped at 30% if fan is turned off to protect the light.
